theWent has been a busy guy . He made a video for the version of Santanas 'Smooth' that we did for the 'HRC musical challenge' a while back .
It's stuff like this that keep everything fresh, and fun... what a guy !
Warning !!! there are two quick shots of nudity in the video . Don't freak out... it's just a topless stock-shot . If you'd get offended by a cheesy-black-and-white-strip-tease, then don't look . Everyone else, please enjoy .

Hue, the guitar part was cool as well. I liked the family watching the TV though. And the look on the faces when some of the stuff came on the TV. Very well done.

I have no such patients for it... always fall asleep . But it is inspiring, and helps keep things fresh for my scattered mind . : /
Y'all are pretty inspirin', yerselfs ! Ever since this 'musical challenge' thing came through, I've heard an increasing amount of talk reguarding the re-working of cover-songs, or just pure-butchery of them on one level or another . This coming from people who have been previous members of the 'I dont-do-covers' mentality . So, uhm... cheers guys !!!

And for some dumb reason, maybe related to imbibing some form of liquid refreshment I got tweaked on doing a version of Smoke on the Water in his style. I'll try to find the file and put it up for the pure Cheezy factor of it.

Feb 17, 2008 01:36 pm I haven't listened to it in years but I think it was just more cheezy then strange. I can't find the original audio file yet but have the original midi file so may just give it some new sounds but keep the original beat and notation. Then put it up.

I must admit, I only had a small part of the making of it . Went is deserving of most of the credit . He really has developed an eye/ear for this kind'a stuff... even found and fixed some of the audio-goofs that I wasn't going to concern myself with... after all, it was just going to be a fun 'lil "challenge", right ?
