About Hue

HueI've been playing guitars for the last 25 years, writing with my cowriter "theWent" since '93, and recording our works since 2002 . We're giving it another whirl with this new band 'LOG', and once again having a great time through the making of music . Rock... Rock-On !

Dayjob : Taxi Dispatcher .
Favorite color : Chrome .
Favorite food : Mulusks .
Turn Ons : Chunky hard rock guitar sound, real-live-drummers with impeccable timing, good recordings of live mixes .
Turn Offs : Overdone mixes, sloppy bass playing, and the twisting of the knife that occurs somewhere around take-twenty .
Weirdest 'live' moment : Drummer kicked drums off of stage in the middle of the second song... out of *****, I guess ?
Weirdest studio moment : Had someone elses script thrown at me like it was my fault they weren't getting the damn lines right .
Current Band : Lords Of Green .(LOG)
Current Studio : Bulimic Walrus Productions .

My guitar rig consists of a Randall RH100, powering a 1984 Ampeg V-4 cab... within the Randalls FX-loop a a 5-vand Behringer Parametric EQ, followed by a DBX266xl, then a BBE462 Sonic Maximizer, and into a Roland Delay... The signal then leaves the rack to include the Boss C-2 Chorrus, and RC-2 Looper stompboxes. The Randalls direct out goes out to a Crate 12" combo which is used for the drummer to monitor my guitar, or for added stage monitoriing. Everything gets plugged into a Furman power conditioner, in the rack.

My Cowriter, theWents rig is a real Frankenstien...
A Crate 150w power section was 'modified'(ie... sawed off 2" of the non-working end of it) to fit within the upper space of a Fender Ultimate Chorrus' combo, which had its guts removed. A Line 6 FloorPOD is used as the pre-section, run into the Crates power-section which drives the two 12" Fender speakers in the combo, AND(for larger gigs) a set of early-seventies 15"s in a Fender cabinet. It's a friggin' "Fender Warhead" halfstack!!! lol

The bass player is simply run into the board, via a Peavey Max Bass rack'd-preamp. Simple enough. : )
