Nice find indeed. Those lefties are difficult to find. Real pretty naked.

The wood grain I mean.

Seriously though, A very nice find.

That is pretty sweet, what exact model is it? (RG___)

You may wanna swap out the pickups for something better. I used to have one with V-series pickups and I didn't think much of them.

Here's my baby (RGT42)

Yep, I switched my V series out for DiMarzio's all the way. I have the same pick up config as Joe, Hum, single, Hum.

MIke,
it's a S540ML, got that from the neck pocket. Jerry at www.ibanezregister.com verified it for me. He was suprised at the natural headstock. 95' was a decent year. It has the "original" wizard neck which is alot thinner than the new ones. The bridge pickup is now a Dimarzio X2N, guy gave it to me with the guitar. Went in 2nd night. I can live with the neck, dosen't sound to bad.

Oops, should've known it's an S series. The points around the cutaways are rounded.

Good call on the pickup. I put a PAF pro in my RG560.

Ibanez pickups seemed to improve since then though. My current guitar has the INF1/INF2 humbucker combination. Gets me lots of sustain.

Dude, take it back! I just noticed a major flaw with your guitar!

It's left-handed!

I don't think we can (save rename by the dB-Wan).

He made a new account. Note the sign-in date, it changed from sept, to dec 17.

Nice guit, by the way

And aside from that forty, that name pretty much fits ya now. I wouldnt know who the heck you were if ya changed it.

it's good to have another lefty around here. and great find on the guitar, I've had a terrible time finding good guitars that are not cheaply made or too damn expensive.

I thought left handed guitar players all had to share the seven left handed guitars on the planet....Nice that you've got one of your own!

By the way, why are so many soccer goalkeepers, and NFL kickers lefties?

Geoff,
I feel your pain bro, i was buying a Carvin they had in stock. But they kept jerking me over. It was the Ibanez or a Jackson USA Custom, the Jackson was sweet. Had a nice quilted top but no Floyd. And in the end the Jackson went to $1400, still a good deal on a Custom USA. I'm damn happy with my buy.
