We have to wait till march in Australia!

Seems a strange marketing move considering x-mas coming up ?

Looking forward to checking it out though.

I have heard and read lots of bad things about this first release of games, lots of crashes and buggy performance...I suppose it depends on the games, but for now, I still love my xBox I already have :-)

well this 'box rocks.

I've heard a lot of the same stories but how much of it is true? MS says that they are way under the 3-5% defects that most new electronics have... of course they say they aren't holding any x360's back to create hype/shortages either, so who knows?

all i know is that Call of Duty 2 and Tony Hawk rock, not to mention Halo 2 looks and runs great with the new machine.

sorry, man, wasn't trying to be a buzzkill or anything, actually, I am glad to hear a good story, because there hasn't been much good, only bad, that I have heard, but thats usually the way it goes, ESPECIALLY if you talking about Microsoft...if it does what it is SUPPOSED TO (which is work right) then you hear nothing...

glad you are enjoying it!

Ya, the guys got it up to 10 million now. How lame can it get. One of the peep's I work with actually got a bunk box and it crashed 20 minutes into Gotham . He said he tried several times with varied result's but it always crashed out at the 20 minute mark or less.

Now I know why I can justify not getting into these things on first release. But I am also a die hard Sony fan. I remember Sony had overheating problems with the first PS 2 as well so they are not infalable either. I just recently got the second generation of the PS2 and have to say found the graphic's much improved over the original. I think that is due in part to the digital video hook ups as well.

As for the PS 3, I'll be waiting a year before jumpin in on that one.

I hope things turn around the the Xbox 360 though, I would hate to see a bunch of kid's opening Xmass present's, hookin them up and watching them crash after 20 minutes of playing.

Blah... I'm too cheap to spend $500 on my kid, if I had a kid. Make the brat work for it...lol.

I've always been a fan of PS2 as well. Can't beat the good 'ol Bond... although, Halo 2 is quite the first person shooter....
