Guitar EQ

Okay, here's one for you thin string people....

I'm recording a blues/gospel type song which features (so far), drums (BR532 patterns), bass, plus three guitar parts. All three are clean, with a little tube overdrive on one or two.
One is a slightly driven "stab" type part, with accent parts, played on the Schecter (humbuckers).
Two is a little cleaner, and is the overall song - with some doubling of guitar one. Played on a strat (neck/middle).
Three is the strat again, playing an arpeggio part.

I'll add some "hammond" style organ soon.

I'm aiming for an Al Green ish sound.

Any hints for EQ on the guitars so they don't (a) crowd the mid-range, (b) bump into each other.

Using a SPAN could help give you a visual on just where they're sitting...

... stick one of those on each track that you're messing with, and tweak to taste . Between the visual input and what you hear, you'll surely be able to keep them from stepping on one another . That thing has shown me problems in mixes a few times... great plugin .
