LOL !!! Cheap sexual delusions, make the world go 'round !

I hate that 'overqualified' excuse... that's like saying, "You're too good for us, we need someone we can pull the wool over the eyes of."

Lost for words with all to say.

"we need someone we can pull the wool over the eyes of."

That sounds correct Hue. Very sad indeed.

Well, after further investigation I also found out that from the recruiters point of view, they would ask me to lower my rate too...so it turns out there is more to the story...I knew there had to be.

I hate when that happens tae..I also hate the point ye brought up elsewhere dB - aboot folk no liking stuff being too "cheap"...darn fools.

They actually prefer to be ripped off than pay a fair price and be happy! Fools...

Its most annoying and makes the small businessman or someone trying to get a foot hold in the business impossible as nobody takes ye seriously until ye charge big bucks...I hate to do it tae but I put up my prices and altered my own pricing strucure a little tho thats mainly due to my own pricing methods needing bringing in line i.e. per hour rates.

Cheers and good luck to ye man.

Coco.

Overqualified usually means..."too rich for our blood"

Well dB,

I gotta say on the brighter side, sometimes they are right, probably for the wrong reasons, in the long run. I just ended my 'flash' career with Guitar Center. Just was not working out at all. If I were twenty and simply eager to sell a bunch of stuff and grab up some bucks for a party, get a cool hat and maybe a couple of widgets as prizes it would have been a great fit. It's a great place, like McDonnalds, for young folks to get some experience and move on. Sometimes when you can see through the 'smoke and mirrors' because of your experience you can have a tendency to impede ohter's best laid plans, if that makes any sense. I am finding that even if I try to play dumb, it just doesn't work. It becomes apparent. Or maybe I need to be a better actor. Who knows.

Anyway, hang in there. You will find a fit. It will probably be better than you ever imagined.
