Bugger.
No mention of coming over across the pond to Europe! If Dylan can do it why not S&G?

They are on my tick list of artists to see before either they or I die (along with Lou Reed)!

Recently I got to tick off Springsteen, Bowie and McCartney, with Meatloaf coming up in November.

Just as a matter of interest, who are on you guys 'must see b4 its too late' lists?

Well, I like S&G, but they're not one of my favorites. On my "see before I die" list are Phish, Al DiMeola, and King's X. Already saw Primus - wow, what a show that was!

flame: yep of all the bands I missed seeing I would have loved have seen the Beatles. When I was around 15 they were playing less than 100 miles from where I lived, but I couldn't go :(

I did see Ringo and His All Star band a few years ago, and Harrison was with Him. Could have gone to see McCartney and Wings but I was never much of a fan of Wings.

I'm glad that I did get to see Foreigner, Heart, Boston, Styx, Guess Who, Moody Blues, Beach Boys, Dooby Brothers along with a few other great Classic Rock bands. All of these I went and saw over the last 15 years.

You young guys, go see the bands you like NOW, you may not get a chance later. :)

collapse, i saw Rammstein at the Baltimore Arena when they opened for System of a Down and Slipknot on the Pledge of Allegence tour in 2001. I don't know if the fire marshall made them tone it down but the pyros were definitely restrained. there was some great fire breathing and flame throwing, but no one was set on fire and there weren't any large explosions or anything. Indoor arena :O( If you see 'em, try to go to a large arena or something outdoors. and yeah, STP would've been great circa '95 or '96.

the one band i will forever regret not seeing live would be Nine Inch Nails. I understand their shows aren't what they used to be.

I might still go see a NIN show. Add to that list Tool and Marylin Manson (Manson was *awesome* on Ozzfest a few years back!)

if you havent seen the dvd for 'and all that couldve been', you owe it to yourself to check it out.

I saw Nine Inch Nails open for David Bowie about 10 years ago at the Forum in LA. NIN played an awesome set. Then at the end of their show, they played "Scary Monsters" and Bowie came out and did it with them. Then, they dropped a backdrop hiding Bowie's band, NIN left the stage and Bowie stayed on and began his show. There was no intermission between the bands. Just a transition from one act to the next. I still think it was about the coolest thing I've seen done at a show of that size.
