fascinating. I'm kinda dissapointed how much crap the Oktava picked up compared to some of the others I've heard of. That's the one I have.

I'm still trying to figure out how they managed to stuff 33 mics only 1 foot from the guitar

no, that's diffinitely that same guitar part, all recorded simultaneously. Give a listen! It's really kinda neat. In fact, I think someone already posted this link awhile back, maybe last fall, but I didn't know anything about mics then and I couldn't appreciate it like I do now. I can actually hear big differences, even thought they;re mp3s
