Well, I wasn't sure if theWent was going to get this video done before the 'spooky holiday', but he did !

Last July we were able to go to Cannonsburg PA to do EVP recordings on a 217 acre site of the same insane assylum that was used in the filming of Silence Of The Lambs . It was a very fun trip, and we actually recorded some EVPS ! For those few of you that are unfamiliar with the term, it stands for Electronic Voice Phenomina, and is essencially, the recording of voices in spooky spots that are inaudible to the naked ear . We're not saying that we recorded ghosts, or even that ghosts exist, but the 'phenomina' is that of an auditory nature . heh

Anyway, here's our Ghost Punchers video... enjoy !

It's very rare that we get anything that can't be rationalized as a movement of someones shoe, or a voice of someone else in the gerneral area that made it's way on to the recorder without us noticing... y'a got'ta all be watching eachother at the time you record, just to be sure that a noise/voice is not made by someone actually there . This one was deffinatly not done by any of us .

I don't know anyone named Frank, either . lol

See Herb. You didn't call for so long, that he had to send a message from Hue to get to you.

He's been waiting a long time, so you better call.

He's been dead for 19 years. I suppose that's enough time for him to float to Pennsylvania. Sounds nothing like him though. Besides, we trade email.

Cool, very well done I might add. I really liked the way it was edited and the music choice was good as well.

Pretty cool really.

Can't wait for part 2.

Hi Hue. Thats pretty cool. I don't know that I can believe the EVP, but the whole concept and the production makes me want to.

And the effort you all put into this makes my life somewhat...boring.

Cheers,
TBM

Hey, thanks TBM ! Good to see you 'round these parts again . As far as the validity of these types of recordings go, all I can say is that nothing was done to produce the effect whatsoever . I'm not sure I believe in ghosts perse, but after going through the steps of EVP recordings a couple of times, with mixed results, I must say it is deffinately a 'phenomina' of some kind . If anything, it sure is fun recording things that may or may not be there . : )

Very cool, Hue. I've been into the whole ITC (instrumental Transcommunication) and EVP thing for a good while. For those of you unfamiliar with what has been captured, try www.worlditc.com (that "email from Heaven" isn't too far fetched..).

Great capture, and wonderful noise reduction on there.

great job man! i was lovin' it the whole time, i KNEW that was clutch in the beginning, what song is that? jamie (who i'm livin' with now) is a HUGE fan of Ghost Hunters and i give him hell for it (i know they use audition!). the slowing down of the audio got a real laugh outta me at the end.

i'm gooin' acoustic singer/songwriter with jamie these days.

cheers mate!

Thanks guys ! Once again, I shall pass your comments along to theWent, as it is his child . : )

That be The Soapmakers by Clutch, BTW . Yeah, killer tune for sure !

Livin'/jammin' with Jamie these days, eh ? That's cool... tell him I said 'hey' . If my bass player doesn't heal up properly(shattered his elbow falling off a ladder... bummer), I'll be looking for another... you should give me a shout so I have your number... even if it's just to fly up and do the tracks for the demo . I left my # in your Guestbook .

Cheers bud !
