What is the best way to get my drum loops from fl to sonar.
Any tips on using loops in sonar?

Jan 27, 2003 11:52 am Make sure the BPM in Sonar and the BPM in FL are the same...then export the FruityLoops sequence to wav and import it into Sonar...
WAIT, actually with the Sonar I believe FruityLoops can qork as a DXi virtual instrument...look into that too...
Jan 27, 2003 12:52 pm is Fruity a DXi? i thought it was only VSTi.
but yeah, like dB said, you'll export as wav. the best way would be to go ahead and arrange as much as you can in the playlist (song mode) and export several differnt tracks by muting differnt channels and exporting these individual tracks. for instance, you might have the kick drums all on one track, the hats and cymbals on another, and the snare isolated by itself on a third. or, if you're working with prerecorded loops, you could send each channel to its own wav file. once in sonar you can handle each portion separately -j
