i'd never thought i'd be facinated with such a program...but i've spent HOURS upon DAYS on it and have learned so much.

i can spot fiji from the moon, i finally know where papa new guinea (sp?) is. you can see flames in africa where they're burning 'unused' natural gas. i know where tom cruise lives, and brad pitt....aswell as i figured out, if i have my druthers, i'm gonna live in malibu.

this program is just so awsome.

I was checking out Universal Studios in FL after we went.

You can see the Incredible Hulk on there.

Way cool.

Being out in the sticks, G-Earth doesn't have my area in higher res, but it's still cool.

Google Earth is seriously cool, I can spend a lot of time on it as well.

Check this out though, this looks like it might be really cool too.

WYD: Might want to rethink the living in Malibu thing...
Not trying to put you off (oh, my wife used to live there, my brother-in-law still lives there, and it's literally 30 minutes down the road from me):

They have four seasons - Fire, flood, quake, and mud. Watch the news, if there's a natural disaster in California Malibu EATS IT.
It's very snobby (if you're not from the 'Bu, you're considered filth).
Traffic. Nuff sed.

So many other places I'd rather live.

Google Earth is pretty cool, though. I love the videos on Youtube that show all the weird things seen from space...
