About moriondor
I am primarily a guitarist and vocalist and have played in a number of bands covering a broad range of styles from Prog/Alt rock to electronica and the more avant-garde. I enjoy the heavier and more abrasive side of music. Basically anything that's a little insane and causes others to raise an eyebrow. I currently play guitar and provide the vocals for a sludge/stoner metal band called AllHailMotherEarth.
I have decided that I would like to delve in to the world of home recording. More for my own enjoyment than anything else but it would be nice to be able to put tracks down as ideas to play back to the band and possibly get to the stage where everything can be self recorded and produced.

I have a pretty powerful PC that I hope to utalise for recording. It runs Windows Vista and here are the main specs.
*1.80ghz Dual core Pentium
*2GB DDR3 RAM
*360GB Sata HDD (7200RPM)
*Realtek HiDef soundcard
I hope to upgrade the sound card as it is pretty poor for recording.
