Hi!
I'm new to home recording, want to set up my studio for personal enjoyment and creating demos of personal music. Music interest:
country (singer-song writer); electric blues
I'm currently reonvating half of my basement for a "bare-bones" home studio, and am interested in any suggestions on building a workable, flexible, affordable set-up.
Other interests: fly fishing; gardening (I'm a registered landscape architect in Georgia); fiction writing; tennis.
Have Dell Pentium 4 computer, 1.0 GB Ram, Creative Audigy Sound Card. No recording equipment at present, although looking at an MBox 2 from DigiDesign, with Pro Tools Lite. Have used CuBase Demo in the past.
