Jimmie R. Vestal is a Pinellas Park, Florida (U.S.) songwriter and musician, and the author of over 175 copyrighted songs and instrumentals. He plays lead, rhythm, and bass guitar, keyboard, harmonica, and percussion. He has performed professionally in musical groups in North Carolina and Florida.
His songs and music were featured on many of the 36 episodes of the Time-Warner Community Access TV series (Clearwater, FL), "Computer Art & Animation", of which he was the producer.
His original song, "Bald Head Diva" , has many different recorded versions that mention the name of radio stations, restaurants, bars, pubs, cafes, music venues, tourist attractions, appliance stores, and others.
The song even has a manufactured product, "Bald Head Diva Gourmet Steak Sauce". The Diva's caricature is on guitar picks, Bar-B-Que matches, post cards, wooden dollars, and buttons.
The song was submittted, along with a bottle of the sauce, to the Myrtle Beach Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum - - - through their Orlando, Florida corporation office.
