Jan 17, 2006 12:04 pm Wow, that is different. How would you use it though? I know that you would plug it into a PC/laptop but selecting it in your audio program might be a problem...no??
Does it get phantom power from the USB?
...and what about a pre-amp? How would you connect it to a pre-amp?

Jan 17, 2006 01:55 pm I guess you'd just select it as an input just like you would any other USB audio device. Must be powered by the usb i guess, yeah. i'l let you know in a couple of days...

Jan 18, 2006 01:11 am Yeah I have been seeing ads for the Snowball from Blue a lot lately. Also a USB condensor. Interesting idea.

Jan 18, 2006 08:28 pm It uses ASIO I believe. Not sure exactly though, but it will force you to deselect your sound card input drivers for the time you use the mic. Then you simply reselect your audio cards drivers and away you go. It is supposed to sound pretty nice though.
