Oktava mic mods...

Anyone had any experience with mic mods ?

I've done the wire shortening to thead and it does make a big differance. I would like to try his other mod by removing the switches. If I can find another vintage one I might try that bottle one.

I did the same wire shortening to the head in my Equitek and again, it does help alot.

That's a nice find there for sure Hue.

i've had 2 mk-219's and yes them mods definately work....if ya thump the stock grill, it'll ring very loud...which equals resonance!! i never moded mine though, i just got rid of 'em.
