What mp3 Player do you people use, and what do we call this place?

I was considering making some community branded skins for mp3 players, but I didn't know what everybody used.

You all better be using diPlayer from www.digimpro.com/ but I doubt you all are, I use it every day at work, and their website has my skins (3 of 'em) ready for download, one for dB Masters, one for HRC (for you newbies this community used to go by HRC or, "Home Recording Central", I should probably brand this site again with that name rather than just community, eh? oh, and one other skin I made for the Minnesota Vikings (OK they sucked last year, so shut the hell up) ;-)

Anyway, what are you all using, and as long as the topic came up, should this site again be branded HRC or "Home Recording Central" or does someone have a better idea...one that maybe has a domain available for it?!?!

If one of you come's up with a name that is still available as a domain name. I will foot the bill for the domain name, and you will get the credit for being so smart.

So come on now, put on them thinkin cap's and start the ball rollin.

Walt, I bet you can come up with something, home recordin related, name wise.

recordingcentral.net is available.. as is
digitalrecording.net

name doesnt really matter to me a whole lot. as long as the community exists =)

as for mp3 player.. i take the easy way out and use winamp. i love winamp for playing mp3s.. but i use musicmatch for ripping mp3s from disc.

It's ok collpse, I still use WinAmp too. I have used DiPlayer and it work's great, I just hope they will implement a graphic EQ soon. As that is the main reason I use WinAmp and Sonique. But check out the DiPlayer as it is pretty kool, and you can put our skin's on em!!!!!!!!

Audiogods.com, that has a nice ring.

audiogods.com, I like that!

audiogurus.com would be less blasphemous and maybe won't get us kicked out of heaven in the distant future :-)

All you slackers go get diPlayer! ;-) www.digimpro.com/ then go get our skin www.digimpro.com/prod/prod/productListingForm?category=20 then, take another look at diMusic, it's pretty neat, and they are now working on development of their next version of software, plus, they are friends of mine in Budapest.

I will second that. It is a neat player, and the DiMusic Maker is very kool. I used it just a bit, and will be going back to make a piece of Techno stuff to post at their site from the community. So maybe if you guy's go get it, we can do a cummunity piece were everyone (or anyone who want's to) contribute's a little track to be mixed into the piece.

Oh and just an adder to dB's next post, the EQ thing would be nice. So everybody go there and give them a piece of your mind, ask for an EQ to be implemented.

I just spoke with Digimpro today and they are getting ready to release an alpha version of their diPlayer soon to some beta testers (actually, that would make them alpha tester wouldn't it) of which Noize and I are two. I am trying to get the dirt on new features to see if there is any EQ and/or plugin compliance...

I will keep ya'll informed.
