Well, as our recording skills grow, some earlier recordings no longer feel up to par. We recorded Drivway. Much more satisfied now. I would love to here your comments on this Gold candidate.

The first time I heard this tune a while back... it was instantly one of my favorites. The new recording only makes it so much better. Excellent job!

Are you planning on releasing a CD in the future? If so... count me in, I want a copy.

wow GREAT SOUND MAN!!! only qualm i have is it seems when you do the 16th note strums on the acoustic, it seems a bit 'ahead' of the beat from the drums occasionaly...

HA! nice filtering at the end too!!!

Thanks WYD. Yeah, Jerod is not always the best guitar player when it comes to "Time" worked with him along time to get him to where he is.

Wontdien, I used a snare sample from Beta monkey, and added two reverbs to it. One was a small room with fast decay, the other was a chamber. I dialed the levels through a send. Using Waves Rverb. I will go back and look at the exact settings and let you know.

ZX6R1033 At the rate we are going, it will be a few more months before we have a cd ready. Thanks for your support though :-)

Yeah, this sounds lush, if that makes sense. Only thing I would say, is I think it would be cooler if the drums and especially the snares cracked through the mix a bit more. They're kinda buried, to me, as is. But if you didn't touch it, this would still be very good. Good work.

friggin awesome tune, good music with a poppish type attractiveness to it. Well done. beautiful guitar sound, vocals, often the most difficult part, are mixed and processed well. I do agree tho, the drums could be brought out a bit more.

Thanks Guys. I will take one last look at the drums. That seems to be the common theme in all the feedback.
And on another note, Thanks to Db for reviewing my stuff :-) I know your a busy guy and this is the first time I have had your comments.
Thanks for all the great advice on this site and thanks for your opinion on this song. Heard it so many times now, I can't wait to put it away for good ;) the song that is...

Just wanted to let ya know that this song was stuck in my head all day.

Also, I think it would sound cool if right before the vocals come in, if you could hold that guitar note for an extra messure. just my 2 cents.

Wow! This sounds great. I like your guitar tones and over all mix. The drums are just a touch thin but not so much to take away from the overall picture. This is the type of tune that I would listen to or buy. Great work!
