Jun 03, 2005 11:14 am This was something I ran acrossed. I dont have the time, money, or patience to undertake such a project.
I did, however, once build a lego airport. but, then again, that came with instructions.
Jun 03, 2005 11:26 am that just made me realize something.....churches are one of the few buildings were acoustics are taken into consideration durring the building process. is there a market of 'pre-owned' churches??
sounds like it'd be a good place to have a studio when it outgrows the house...not to mention, the cool 'vibe' effect for the musicians!
things that make you go hmmm

Jun 03, 2005 11:31 am Clutch Cargo's, north of detroit used to be a church. I saw monster magnet there, what a trip. all the pews are gone, no chairs, just the stage and three bars on the three other walls. great show.
there was a baptist church, with house, on 80 acres for sale up here in northern mich a few years ago. we contemplated buying it, and turning the church into a venue of sorts. didn't work out though.
Jun 03, 2005 11:31 am hehe i wanna buy one and install a studio in it!

Jun 03, 2005 11:33 am I'm thinking about asking a local church if I can record some acoustic there. Get in good with the church-runners, and it should be simple. i got my old PA mixer from them =). They also have a baby grand, hmmmmmmm.

Jun 03, 2005 11:45 am Ill just stick to adding reverb... I have a nice program which recreates the church effect quite nicely.
Jun 03, 2005 11:55 am yeah i can see it now.....the mojo knob on the reverb plugin!
Jun 03, 2005 12:31 pm That is so awesome...
