Hey, I listened to all the tracks you have samples for, and they all sound well put together with a nice overall sound. I'm impressed with how each one has a different sound/feel to it. The one with vocals, your vocal style is a bit odd to me, like your running out of breath, but it works. I don't know, everything seems to have this feel good, almost reminiscing sound to it, which is cool. Good job, and congrats on getting it done. I wish I was in the area to go to the CD release. One thing I did notice though (and I'm on dialup here...), but all the tracks lacked a bit of low end to my taste (coming from someone who is into booming hip hop bass).

I just gave them a listen and I like it. I agree with coolo the tracks do have a "feel good" vibe to them. I could see myself listening to this in this summer, driving down to the outer banks, NC. Nice summer time roadtrip tunes. Good job!

Hey dude, I listened to all the tunes on there. I think I have allready commented on the fact I thought they were very well done.

As for commenting on the audio quality, I cant give an honest opinion as the mp3 files are encoded at 32k. So my commenting on the sound would truly be wrong.

Thanks much for the feedback guys! :) yeah, the 32k encoding doesn't really do them justice I know unfortunately which is why they are a bit lo-fi and they would be a bit more dynamic if you hear them on the disc first hand. :)

yeah, I was going for a different type of vibe fore most of them, but to somehow fit all the styles I dig onto one project if you know what I mean. I am tired of an industry that pigeon holes artists to one thing or another and doesn't give musicians freedom to write what they feel anymore and let them live or die on their own you know.

Coolo: on the vocals, yeah I am honestly not much of a singer and only do it as a passion which is why I only sing on one track. lol I saturated one vox track with verb, the other dry and mixed in, and was running through a borrowed Neumann U87 for the mic on that track. I was sort of going for a breathy/crooner/pop kinda vibe on the vocal style in a way. :)

btw.. if you dig Hip Hop bass, you would probably dig the track "Hip Cat Groove" that I did on the album. I could only list a few samples when I put them up, but that track was a lot of hip hop/bass kinda stuff. :)
