Sony Viao's would be one of the last name brand PC's I would ever recommend anyone buy...sorry to kinda piss on the parade, but ewe...they don't have a very got rep among most computer technicians I have ever chatted with and my personal teching experience is about the same.

I know a guy who has a Viao which he runs with the M-Audio USB Duo interface.

He runs Cubase SX with the M-Audio and hasnt reported any probs tho when installing it, it was a bit of a pain.

I dont know how much recording he has done but I do know Cubase was running pretty fast with no probs reported.

As I Say, he hasnt done too much recording I dont think but the main stickler is the lack of PCI slots...its USB all the way on this model.

Cheers

Coco.

most software is starting to run on 64's. I won't personally be upgrading the 64bit for a while yet, at least not until Longhorn is released.
