Dec 02, 2004 09:18 am So far Crux, my research has lead me to SAE Institute (School of Audio Engineering). It is an international franchise, with a campus in Los Angeles.
It was started in the 1970's in Australia. Byron Bay, Australia is the head office and I have just tonight returned from there.
SAE offers certificate, diploma and two degree courses. The degrees are fast tracked, taking two years for the Bachelor of Digital Media majoring in Audio. You can also stay another year to complete the Middlesex University (London) Bachelor of Arts honours year in Recording Arts.
The association between Middlesex University and SAE is about 7 years.
My son has been accepted to SAE Auckland and he will go to Byron Bay the year after to complete the degrees...unless other things happen.
