My job as a call center analyst is being outsourced, and my last day is Aug. 15. If anyone knows of any opportunities (nonmusical or musical - all work considered) available in the Chicago, IL or northwest Indiana area (Merrilville, Schererville) I'd love to hear about it. I have 5+ years of customer service experience and team leadership experience as well.

Hey Tincan...I can sympathise with your predicament.

I just got promoted to an Analyst role in ma own job..due the fact the company has just had the biggest re-structure in the last 125 years of history, deceided to demutualise and screw loadsa folk over, Ive been demoted back to ma old job. Damned corporate giants - they screw everyone!

I am sorry to hear that youve been taken the step further and actually paid off - as Hue says, that REALLY sucks.

I wished Id had another 5-10 years..Id have begged for the redundancy then! But alas, with 2 wee mouths to feed and a mortgage - beggars cant be choosers!!

Good luck and I hope ya get some work real soon buddy...all the best.

Coco.

Thanks, guys... Having a rather fecal day here, it's kind of nice to read a friendly message or two.

Hey, that sucks tincan. Been there before. Part of the reason I was so intent on becoming self employed.

I'm sure you'll find something before long. Keep your head up.
