Idea.... How difficult will this be?

First off, is there an oscilliscope that will save the images on it for recall later? Secondly, if there is, I want to record a group prayer at a church or something of the like, a mantram or meditation... then using the oscilliscope I want to creat an exact replica of the waveform in a synth to see how various vibrations and chants and prayers sound as music.

First of all, most digital oscilliscopes that are on the market today are capable of saving a trace waveform, many of them in 3D.
Second...have you tried recording an audio file ( wav, aiff...whatever) and running it thru a VST scope or spectrum analyzer...??

It's a good idea. I can hear it in my head. It will be REALLY cool. Can't help you with the osilliscope though sorry.

Just open the recorded waveform in any audio editor, the image displayed of the waveform is exactly what you'd see on a scope...
