It's not complete- but i felt compelled to put up some stuff just so you could get a feel for what im doing visualy. (and know im not blowing smoke on this project!)
members.cox.net/tonydmovie
just right click and save as (about 3.5 meg)
i definatly need better MUSIC. and dont be mad it's so short- quality over quanity for once.
I gotta work on the layering for the ship too.
ill finish the intro in a day or two and tweak it up. Also the first real scene has been filmed. ive gotta still do voice and animation, maybe by tuesday or so......

its gotta run 1 minute- (doesnt have to be strings or anything- id actually like something rocking........
and ya, i can burn it to dvd.......
i can see it now (spoken with salesman voice) "own season one of Assignment Tranquility! with all new behind the scenes, interviews with the actors, never before seen footage and more. buy it today!"

Vegas does it, Cubase does it, Nuendo does it.

There are plugins that will let any app do ProLogic Surround, but you need a special app to do Dolby Digital Surround, such as the ones listed above.

if i turned the finished episodes over (as 30 meg wmv's) to someone with such products, would they be able to do it? or would i have to do it in production?

Just send a CD with seperate files for each track of the soundtrack and a file of the video (without sound) and we can mix it and stuff...

Generally each character on a different file so they can be panned around and the sound track split up by instrument so they can be as well, dude, it would be sweet, and if you plan to keep using WMV video type, you can then stream it on the net in 5.1 surround as well. Windows Media 9 supports it.

Tony, I got to thinking that maybe I don't have enough free time to complete the theme song as quickly as you'd probably want it. I'll take a poke at it this weekend and see if I can come up with anything, but if it's not flowing I may drop it. I'm in no position currently to contest anyone for the honor... Due to personal issues I'm usually only recording for a few hours a week. I'll have to consult my muse. :) Sorry so wishy-washy... My honey-do list has no end until the family is well and has no broken legs. hahaha

tincanbug-im tinkering too. i just put that in last nite cause its just wayyyy too plain without some sound. i have an idea of slamming some heavy nielyoungish fat bar chords, with strings and a bass line, ending with a drum roll and cymbal crash. but im sooo sucked into the video production right now. I still dont have everything worked out. things will go much faster once ive got the basics down. heck i spent an hour and a half just building 3 sets (bridge, admiral's office on earth, and the engine room)
so, if you put something together, great... if not dont worry about it. this is NOT a paying gig- noone is an employee, and you cant get fired. (no health care or 401k either)

depending on the length of the flick, we might be willing to put down some tracks as well. I shouldn't volunteer Noize's time without his consent, but I know him well enough to know he'd prolly be into this.
