I don't know if this has been brought up before so I apologize if it has...But this is just an FYI in case it hasn't.
Some of you may want to look into BH Photo for your audio gear. For some reason they seem significantly cheaper than MF and possibly others in some areas. I don't really have the time to do an extensive report. In the past I have bought some of my photography gear @ BH so I just peeked at them because I knew they sold pro audio stuff...I looked into a power conditioner at MF then just for a goof I looked it up @ BH and BH had it for $30 cheaper than MF.
I looked up my mixer as well and it was $40 cheaper. $239 @ MF vs $198 @ BH.
Then I compared a couple of high end JBL monitors and BH was also $30-$40 cheaper there...I don't know how much $30 means to people @ a $1500 pair of monitors but....it's still cheaper.
I can vouch that they are a relatively solid retailer. I've never had problems with them. I ordered my power conditioner from them yesterday and it shipped the same day.

Don't try to get anything during Jewish High Holy days though -- You'll have about as much luck as getting Chik-Fil-A on a Sunday.
They usually post it pretty well on their website though...
I just hate it when they're the *only* retailer that has something I need and then I find out it's Yom Kippur (I think... 10 days, no B&H).
NOTE: I have no problem with religious holidays of any kind -- I'm just stating the facts here.

Jan 19, 2012 01:53 pm I use BH for a lot of stuff too, great selection and great prices.
bestlinknetware.com is another good one for cheap stuff that comes in handy at a studio. Selection is limited to cables and mounts and stuff, but it's so very cheap.

Jan 19, 2012 05:32 pm Yeah, B&H is good.
I've also browsed through Sam-Ash from time to time since I've seen sometimes they have things that other places don't, and sometimes for quite a bit less, depending. Also got a nice deal on my Korg R3 through them.
My main go-to site is still Zzounds.
Otherwise I have used: MF, which is "okay" I think dB has or had some reservations about them.
I've also used sweetwater in a pinch. I always hear good things about their customer service. But they do tend to sell on the high end of the street value.
For computer things, I use Newegg.
