New song "Dead and Gone"

I wasn't sure if I should put this in mixing or music and comp. Since I wrote it, I decided to stick it here. What do you guys think? I'm pretty happy with how it came out. Still don't have any lyrics to speak of, I'm not much of a writer. If someone wants to throw down some gnarly vox, be my guest.

Sounds pretty good to me. The third section reminds me a bit of the chorus from 3 Days Grace "I Don't Care" And I think the track as a whole kinda has that vibe as well. Not necessarily that particular song, but it reminds me of their sound a bit.

Listening...

That'll wake you up in the morning, lad!!!

The 'wind' was a nice touch...

Pretty dang sweet, Quick! Deffinately ready for some killer vox, although I have no idea where to go with that. Our 'singer' is a bit unorthodox, so nothing I have heared in the last decade would really apply. heh

Good 'n heavy!

Yeah, my fav part about it has to be the the "wind". Its a plugin I picked up looong ago and never actually used it. I just copied the slide guitar to another track and slapped that plugin on. Thanks guys!

Not my style really but I can appreciate it, it is tight and pretty well mixed (based on the speakers on my Chromebook), but I gotta say, the wave looks funny, one solid block. haha

Most metal masters end up looking like one big block haha. Its what metalheads like, a wall of sound.

And I don't plan on adding vox, beauase I don't plan on writing lyrics. This was just a fun way to practice my mixing some more. If anyone wants to lay some down I'm all for it.
