When I'm trying to keep track of my recordings, ie., what drum riff I'm using for verse, chorus, what my snare settings are.. I'm just using a pad of paper with scribbles all over it. I thought using grid paper but I don't think this will help my organization any.
Is there any special stationary that can be printed out that one can use to keep track of this stuff. To keep track of routing and stuff like the above?
How do you guys/gals do it?
Jov
Edit: I tried searching for something like this, but I'm not even sure what I'm looking for. I tried "DAW stationary" but didn't come up with much.

Feb 01, 2011 10:01 am I used to keep notes on a sheet I made up just for it. It had circles for placement of pan, trim, and such for each track. It worked alright. Now I just keep to a certain approach, and if things get weird on a track, I'll listen a bit more critically and make the call for it as I go. This method helps keep things, more or less, uniform for me, as well as it helps keep-up the flow.

Feb 01, 2011 12:48 pm Thanks Hue. I did that for awhile but I'm too unorganized to go back to them and find what I'm looking for. I think I found what I'm looking for. Amazing what a little research can do on my part :)

Feb 01, 2011 02:49 pm I use track sheets and photos. Measurements are recorded on the track sheets and photos to show specific positioning/angles.
