New Track, Please Critique

This is my first recording on my new Delta 1010. I plan to re-record it i just couldn't wait to hear some feed-back. Please tell me what you think.

thats cool. i like that song. is this your band?

i think the whole recording could benifit from some EQing before being mixed down. i'm no expert, but i think each track is begging for it's own little place in the frequency spectrum. the kick and snare dissappere in the mix and it's hard to make out the individual instruments.

i wish i had a 1010 to experiment with recording entire bands.. did you record everyone at once or did you layer tracks one at a time??

Ya, it's my band, but it's just a solo project. All tracks are layered, it's not quite done yet. This was more or less an attempt at getting a layout for the finished song. And as far as eq'ing goes, it sounds god through my system, but I'm just using headphones and don't have a good pair of monitors as of yet so I can see how it could sound flat.

sounded pretty cool. i agree that it needs a lil eq to help enhance the track and to clearly define the spectrum.

cool work though.
