Considering how much attention the public has given to this election, I felt it might be prudent to post this site.

www.change.gov

Keep in mind this is a bipartisan effort on my part as I tend towards conservatism, but I'm at least curious as to what his plans are.

Thanks for posting that, Ken. As an independent, I'd like to believe he's more than just a politician. So far he's making some smart decisions to lead me to believe he may be something more. I voted for him but, ever the cynic, I'll wait a year or so before I fully make up my mind.

Jaded? Yes, but I've seen a few elected officials. I'm not a praying man, but I hope this guy can help fix this wreck of a country before it's too late.

I actually signed up yesterday just to see what it is... seems like a massive increase in government spending... but I think at this point we're pulling the wire out of the walls.

I still have no ******* idea as to what his vision of the country is...except "different".......

Do ya think they'll come lookin for me if I say what I really want to say? I'm pretty certain they would.

To me its just more feel good jive being spewed out there. It wouldn't matter if it was McCain either, my opinion would be the same. So don't think the feelings are just toward Obama.

They all spout about change. But we never see any good change for us. Simply for them. He'll soon learn that he is really not the one in control and is merely a figure head to be blamed when things are bad.

I hope he can really pull off something good, but as Herb stated. I have seen way too many get elected only to fall by the wayside and simply be the pawn that is put on the pedestal to point the finger at when things go wrong.

Have you seen a government official be cheered by the entire country in your lifetime. I have only seen one, JFK. None since have had that fortune.

interestingly though, noize, obama doesn't really owe anything to special interests or lobbying groups. reason? they didn't fund his campaign. they can't come asking for favors because he doesn't need them for his next campaign. since he had the people on his side, all he has to do so is somehow make some progress and those people will stay on his side and the muscle of interest groups won't be required to help in 2012. his fundraising machine is his--he built it. he owns those email lists and all the complicated detailed data that they've managed to extract about how to reach individual voters and what their issues and party IDs are all of that...

"He owes nothing to anyone except the people who elected him," said Democratic strategist Steve McMahon."

Interesting response Mr. Noize. Is this the recently promised new era or the comming to fruition of 1984?
