rugged and easy x-y setup with k-micros

im bored trying to find reasons to procrastinate studying for midterms.....

honestly, this is why the k-micros are pretty cool. small and possible to do things like this and not caring about covering them in duct tape cause they were only 10 bucks.....

Or, with a little extra effort, you don't need to use tape at all. Just pliers and a screwdriver.

Copper wire and clamps for under ten bucks at your hardware store.

Herb, you've got to put a small pice of soft rubber or foam in between the mic's and the clips as those copper wires are going to be vibrating and sending that through the mic's.

I'm guessing you watched the Myth Busters episode on this. When they actually got the big bridge to vibrate a bit with a tiny little unit they constructed and attached to it.

In the end they could only state it was Plausible though.
