this is pretty bare. just some compression, verb, and a little touch of echo.
recorded the vocals with a rode nt1 and acoustic guitar with a nt1 away from the soundhole and stereo k-micros by the neck. it was kind of a experiment with the acoustic guitar, doing something different.
its under my profile titled "rum in my coke"
it's not me playing, his name is just very similar to mine

Oct 08, 2008 07:29 pm Nice capture on teh vocals for sure. Has a nice voice indeed, interesting.
I guess I would like to hear a little more body, low end on the guitar itself though.
But I thought the reverb on the vocal in one part was kind of interesting. IT really separated the voice from the rest of the piece for a moment. I would maybe back the level of that vocal part down the tiniest bit though as it kind of takes over with the heavy dose of reverb on it.
But overall, really cool sounding tune indeed.
Oct 08, 2008 09:17 pm Yeah, I must agree with Noize. Need some body in the guitar. But it sounds good. I'd tune the voice some, if you can.
Personally, I'd like to hear it a bit slower... But, that's just my ColdPlay side. :P
