Howdy all. We have finished mixing a new song last night and was wondering if you could give some critique on making the mix better? I already think there needs to be a guitar solo or something in between the 2nd and 3rd verses. It's in my profile. Thanks.

Cool tune for sure.

I agree that a solo would work good there. It does need something to break it up a little and give it a simply change.

The drums could use a good dose of compression and a little EQ tweaking to beef them up a bit. The kick is pretty faint.

The guitars sound good as they are, I like that tone for this tune. I would as well beef up the bass a bit as well as it kind of hides behind the heavy parts and is pretty soft throughout the song.

But it sound like a good tune for sure. It just needs that solo and a break pint in there to spice it up.
