anyone know a good freeware bass plugin?

something that is free and will allow you to plug your bass in and get some kind of modeling out of it?

I think it was this one that was grabbing some attention awhile back. Seems to me there is another really good free one out there but I can't remember the name.... the link was posted here somewhere so maybe someone else will chime in.

I'm writing this at the gate in Las Vegas airport. That's pretty cool.

Try the Helian 1st Bass, and 2nd bass plug ins. They are freebies and depending on the sound you're after they work quite well. I think it's 2nd bass that is the "rounder" of the two. I also use Baxxpander on the signal to get some nice low end on there.
Also, the CPU hog Antress series has a Modernamplifier, and a Modernchannel which add some 'organics' to a dry sound.
