I have been trying to use logic express and I don't understand the user interface at all. I can record MIDI but i can't get any sound to come out. some times i can get an audio signal but i dont know how to assign a track to a channel on my interface. i would think i could just get to the point of rocording audio and MIDI without reading the manual but it seems very difficult. i dont really know what im asking but i know it's a good program once i get the hang of it. does any have advice for me?

Well... no, not really ;)

Haha... no, I don't use logic so I can't offer much help aside from start reading that manual. Um, the midi thing actually could just be a simple thing like, do you have an instrument connected or soft synth hooked up or anything?

Really I'd say if you're having user interface issues, the manual would be your best bet as they generally have an overview of what the user interface includes and how to navigate it...

shouldn't have to dig too far into it to get that information.

Best of luck.

I think Johnny Hero just started using it and he seems to be getting along swimmingly with it. Maybe he will pop in to the thread.

I must say that though it is named logic it is not.
