Anyone here watch hockey? The playoffs are scheduled to start Wednesday!!!

Being from Dallas I'm pulling for the Stars, but it will be a tough first round against the defending Stanley Cup champs.

I'm not sure if anyone is going to beat Detroit this year though. They've been phenomenal.

I used to be a big hockey fan. I used to follow the Stars back when they were the North Stars. I spent many a winter evening at Met Center following the likes of Bill Goldsworthy, Lou Nanne, and JP Parise. When the Stars moved to Dallas, (and they put a huge mall where the arena used to be) I kind of lost interest.

Now that I live in Wisconsin, it's hard to follow hockey because we don't have a team. That being said, the Minnesota Wild are having a good year, so I guess I'll pay a little attention to them this spring.

Boooooooo!! Frigggin' boooooo!! Our Canuck's are out!!! Hockey has no value now... well that is until an underdog surfaces that I can cheer for.

I used to watch hockey religiously, back when I lived in detroit. I've been to a few of the games, and watched the wings through the yzerman years. Nowadays, I'm not so inclined to watch, as there's not as much interest up here in northern mich. I still watch them a bit (saw some of the game yesterday), but alas, not so much.

I pretty much watch hockey religiously. I started watching shortly after the North Stars moved to Dallas. I watched a stars and blackhawks game where Shane Churla started roughing up everyone on the ice. The linesman separated him from one fight and then he grabbed another blackhawk player and started punching him. That game got me hooked. Now I go into withdrawals when theres not any hockey.

As with Jim, I grew up with the North Stars and went to games pretty frequently as I only lived about 6 miles from the met center. Now I don't watch a lot during the season but try to catch a few play off games depending on who is playing.

i saw parts of the pens game tonight. wish i could into hockey a bit more easily. people are really excited about this current pens team. i'm gonna keep trying and see what happens, see if i can get into it.

i used to love to play floor hockey and ice hockey with boots rather than skates. ice skating i never really picked up, tho, so i'm sure that has a lot to do with it.

Hmm, I didn't. Now I'll have to hunt another down. Maybe their site block the embedding.

Woohoo! Well the stars pulled out another victory over the ducks for a 2-0 series lead. They are looking very strong thus far.

Forty, you should watch the pens. They are an incredibly talented team and most of their players are really young. Malkin has been playing unbelievable. And I think that Crosby kid is pretty good too. :)

I'd like to see a stars vs pens final. I didn't get to see the series in 91 when pittsburgh won the cup. That was before I started watching hockey.

Urgh . The Wings gave it away last night . It's gon'na be a long/nasty series against the Predators... they really poured it on in the third... great hockey !( Still waiting for that Celius/Tootoo fight to go down .

I got to see a couple of Predator games in Nashville two years ago, on that same trip I visited WYD . Very cool arena they play in... nice club, in general . There are alot of peeps from Michigan down there... they're refered to as PredWings fans .
