Feb 12, 2008 05:26 pm Years ago....and I mean years ago... I remember a television program called 'Tomorrow's World' (came on before 'Top Of The Pops' of a Thursday night for you Brits out there) where they showed some extremely high end speakers that used a flame instead of the diaphragm (or maybe the flame was the diaphragm). I remember them saying that they sounded amazing, but we couldn't tell through our mono TV.
I wonder what happened to them...
