Native Instruments Battery 3 is a killer drum sampler in VSTi format and it sounds great.

But,I just want a vst, where I can just click on an effect or sound, and wham.

Jan 07, 2008 12:13 pm Yes, but you'll still need some sort of sequencer to host those .wav files. NSKit Free is just a big .zip file of .wav samples.
I'm not sure that any plugin that's capable of doing this will run in Kristal. Kristal doesn't support MIDI and some of the more fancy plugins use MIDI for their advanced features.
You may have to use a stand-alone sequencer, sequence your drum track, and then export it as a stereo .wav file to load into Kristal.
Jan 07, 2008 12:38 pm Tad is correct. As far as I am aware Krisal cannot run VST Instruments.
Jan 07, 2008 12:48 pm Last I spoke with the author, he said that was a feature that was planned for an upcoming release, that would likely be commercial...

It will stop me searching at least.
No sign of this V2 of Kristal, Maybe this year.
