NFL Final Week

The Pats did it, 'nuf said. (neener, neener forty)

The Vikings bummed me out, but Dallas lost anyway, so no big whoop...however, I saw one thing in the Vikings this season that I haven't seen in years...a "comeback" attitude...typically when things go bad, they let it get worse, this season, on more than one occasion they kept fighting, sometimes pulled out a win, sometimes didn't, but always kept trying.

It makes me more excited for the future of the relative youth of some of the standout players...

Oh, and Troy Williamson sucks like no high draft pick has ever sucked.

Further comments anyone?

Yeah this NFL week sucked big time. Other than the Pats' Saturday game, there wasnt jack **** going on worth watching.

The Chiefs suck. *Sigh*

Next week, however, will be an awesome week of football. I have no obligations, commitments, travel, guests, holidays or anything else going on. Just lying around, watching football, playing video games.

I was down in Arkansas at my in-laws for a week, so I had to watch the Bears-Saints game and the Chiefs-Jets game. What a couple of meaningless yawners! I didn't get to watch the Packers or the Vikings!

I did get to see the Pats go 16-0, though, and that was a pretty enjoyable game to watch. I didn't really care who won. I was waiting for one of the quarterbacks to go down with an injury...would have served them right for leaving them in so long. Undefeated don't mean squat if you don't have your best players for the playoffs.

I'm sticking with my earlier prediction that neither the Pats nor the Cowboys make it to the Super Bowl.

I assume, dB, you are still sticking with your earlier statement that I'm nuts?

I just read that the Chiefs fired their offensive coordinator, offensive line coach, and wide receivers coach today.

Thank goodness Solari is out of the O-coordinator position! I thought he was an outstanding O-line coach, but all he produced an an O-coordinator was the worst offense the Chiefs have ever had, and the 2nd worst offense in the league this year.

I hate to see him leave the franchise altogether because I'd welcome him back as O-line coach.

Note to Al Saunders:
Mind leaving that huge deal in Washington D.C. to come back and coordinate our offense?

Yes, Jim, I stand by my previous statement.

I am curious to see what happens in the Vikings camp over the off season...I wanna see some *** hitting the exit doors...

Oh, and Adrian Peterson won the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year award. Its never bad to have that award on your roster. I sure hope Peterson stays healthy because he's going to be a whole lot of fun to watch during his career.

Love the avatar, Tad!

AP will only be fun to watch if the Vikings get some sort of passing game going...toward the end of the year they all stacked the box and shut him down knowing the Vikes don't pass.

The last few games of the year I more enjoyed watching Taylor than I did Peterson.

i turned on the pats game at halftime, as i expected the pats to be leading by a good bit. i was surprised ny was winning, so i watched. for a while there, i thought...maybe. but to me it was easy to imagine manning choking and brady snapping back into it. so i wasn't surprised by the end.

of course i am still rooting for the pats to be stopped, and i think it can be done. only question is, will it? if the steelers defense were actually playing the game, i might have hope there, but the defense is sucking, so who knows. nothing'll happen there unless they suddenly remember how to play. i think the offenses on those teams are a good match. indy, therefore, maybe.

sucks, tho, that i'll be traveling during the pitt/jax game and will miss the first half.

Interesting stat I read today that Mr Ben The Roth is the most regularly sacked QB in the league this season. Makes his good performances all the better of course.

Drew Brees is the least sacked with Manning and Brady not far behind.
