I've tried importing an mp3 into cubase vst. Everything works fine, except it raises the key of the song from A to B. Any ideas???

Feb 04, 2003 12:51 pm Wha!?! i've never heard of anything like that. Sounds like maybe the mp3 is in 48KHz and the Cubase project is in 44.1KHz. That would probably do it.
Check the sample rate first. If its not the same as in your Cusabe project, you'll have to convert it.
Or maybe it's something to do with the tempo setting in Cubase?? I've never used that software but I've had similar time-shifting problems in Cakewalk. Let us know what you find out. -j
