Its a cover of the famous "Yelling At The Christmas Tree". Was alot of fun. The tune lost some luster when converted to 128 mp3 format. Let me know how the mix sounds. What needs adjusted. The cymbals may be too bright. Sounded good on my monitors but with headphones and pc speakers they are bright. May be just me. My ears are shot !! Let me know. Link Below

The recording's OK, but the drummer sounds a little nervous.

Don't try too hard to be a virtuoso if you're not one yet. You need to develop the proper muscle memory.

Relaxation is key to playing any instrument. Drums are easier to hit than you think, and they sound much better when you're feeling the song ;)

There are excellent learning resources available. Videos can help. Get in the habit of performing everyday procedures like brushing your teeth, unlocking your car, or manipulating zippers with your nondominant hand.

And listen to top hits of the '70s.

I do try to hard at times. And usually I redo the drums over and over until I get them ok. This time I did not.

Ok, some people said it wasnt in your face enough. So I did a Hotter Mix real quick. Squished the hell out of it.

THAT IS LOUUUUUDDDD! How'd you get it so loud? I guess it's pretty squished all right.. :) I love this, I think you did a GREAT job. A lot of fun. You have a great voice too. Definitely IN YOUR FACE! Fun ride, man...

cool song. the vocals are dylan-ish to me, which kinda throws me off. But pretty good mix, and I likes the guitar. A little pitchy with the vox here and there but it doesn't really distract. Nice job.

Thanks !!! Just started singing because I couldnt get my kids to sing my covers. Should here my first attempts. Pretty sad. The first mix I did I didnt use hardly and compression. The one posted now has a final mix compression vst on it. I actually could have made it louder but I hate doing that. Thanks again. Workin on an old Aerosmith tune now.

Bushmaster, you passed. The compression/effects made it happen. Really.

Thanks !!! Im learning everyday. I read about the "loudness wars" and hate to fall into that category. I listen to old and new stuff and definately hear a difference. I figure if its not loud enough for you turn it up. But I can see a happy compromise. Make it loud but not to the point its mush.
