Hey all, we just got some artwork back for our upcoming "Argue Street" EP. Now that the design is in my hands it feels like we are actually getting somewhere. Here it is in all it's glory :)

Sep 17, 2007 03:12 pm I like it. When I did my "vanity" cd I had a hard time finding artwork that was good but somehow matched what I wanted to say.
This is good stuff.

Sep 17, 2007 03:19 pm You know the funny thing is that I used to be a graphic artist. Went to college and the whole nine yards but when it came to the cover art for our own stuff I got stuck. I think it was a case of being to close to the project that I needed another perspective. I'm really happy with it. The inside liner is awesome. I try and grab a picture of it and update this thread.

Sep 19, 2007 06:07 pm BH, that is pretty cool looking! Nice and straight forward, yet it has lots to look at.
I'm liking the colors myself. Nice touch with the poster on the walls!
Be sure to let me know when it goes up for sale. I gotta have that for sure.
Sep 20, 2007 05:00 am looks good to me, and i've learned over the years, i'm a audio guy, not visual! haha i leave it up to the experts when it comes to colors and design...i have absolutely no eye....if i had to make a choice, i'd rather be blind than deaf. i can 'see' things with my ears better than i can 'hear' with my eyes. to me it's a no brainer. sorry to digress.

Sep 20, 2007 01:19 pm Ya, I love those 45 looking CD's. However they are quite expensive and we will only be doing a limited run of those. We figured we would use the 45's for signed, limited edition copies and this one for the main run.
Sep 20, 2007 01:34 pm I want a limited, signed one...tell me when I can order...

Sep 20, 2007 01:46 pm dB, take a look at the zoomed pic at the second line of bottom paragraph on the insert... I'll be sending you and noise a complimentary copy.
This site has been a huge help and encouragement to me.

Sep 20, 2007 04:51 pm Very nice. I LOVE those vinyl CDs.
I think I'd bump the price a bit just to keep them!
The limited run is a great idea, though.
Cool.

Sep 20, 2007 08:16 pm Wow BH, that is very cool looking on both. But indeed the 45 looking one is pretty killer. Great idea on that.
And thanx for the mention indeed. The artwork looks great for sure. Very nicely done. I'm liking the color's and such, it really is a nice subtle cover.
Glad to see you got Chelsea in there as well. I didn't see her on the poster parts on the wall shots.
