Finally, a first mix on the second part of a trilogy. It's called the Lounge Lizard. If you want to check out the first part, it's called I'm Talking to you. Thanks to all who contributed to that song.

Aug 06, 2007 07:23 pm Wow, what an interesting arrangement indeed. I liked your other stuff from listening before, but this takes a completely different turn. Very well arranged and pieced together. The mix sounded just fine and seemed to keep a constant feel even though the theme changed several times throughout the piece. I liked the choice of instrumentation as well.
I would definitely have this on my playlist for sure.
Aug 10, 2007 09:42 am Thank you very much! I just uploaded a new mastered version. I'm glad you didn't mind the unexpected turn.

Aug 10, 2007 11:06 pm I'll have to give a listen tomorrow night, but will get at it this weekend. Can't wait to hear it as the first version was good as it was too.

Aug 11, 2007 10:39 pm Oh it absolutely got my interest right from the beginning. I really like the way some of the instruments move in this piece. And as I stated the sounds you have chosen really help make it hold the listeners interest. I liked the way you placed some instruments for different parts. It really helped keep pace with the story line of the song.
I will say the changes you made are pretty small but just enough to help bring everything into place for sure. You seem to have found a way to let certain instruments take the spotlight for a moment when needed then the next phase moves in and takes over. Very subtle the way that happens, but it works great.
