I know I asked this before but I've been looking around and still cant find out how to do this... I hope someone here can help...

Im trying to get my interface customized so when I have an audio/midi track selected I can use the the mouse wheel to zoom in and out on the track.

I used to use this in acid pro 6 to zoom in on tracks to edit/line-up waveforms (really great for workflow) but it seems the only way to zoom in on tracks in sonar is to use the magnifying glass on the side of the window. Does anyone know how to do this? Cakewalk doesnt respond to my emails or anything so..

Thanks guys.

I think one I remember seeing how to do this in one of the online Sonar tutorial video's, but dang if I can remember, check out the tutorials dealing with the Sonar UI it's there. :)

Ok so Alt+left and right is what I want my mouse wheel to do... I saw another post on cakewalk forums and this film maker said the same thing.

Really starting to like Sonar 6 PE though... getting some high quality stuff..

i think if you just get yourself unaddicted to using the wheel for zooming, and 'adjust' to the other shortcuts you'll be fine....it's just a matter of getting into the habbit, and getting over the habbit of using the wheel....workflow be damned, i really don't think it's slowing you down all that much, think about how much time you play with eq's and reverbs compaired to zooming.

i understand you just want this one little thing, but sometimes you won't get sonar to behave like acid, try gettin' acid to act like sonar.

Lex, you simply hold the cursor over the track you want to zoom in on and hold alt and spin the mouse wheel to zoom in and out. Hold down alt+shift to intensify this. Hold down alt+cntrl to adjust the track scale bigger or smaller. Make sure and expand the track first if you want to see it in big time.

If you look in the manual you will find it on page 197. You do have a manual don't you?????
