Apr 19, 2007 03:53 pm Depends on if you have access to the BIOS setup on your motherboard. You can hard-set IRQs in Windows (as I recall) but it'll still do whatever the hell IT thinks is best for you, it's best to do it in BIOS, though you still run the risk of Windows taking it's liberties anyway.
Windows XP sometimes thinks it's much smarter than it actually is.
