My b/f uses some 4track ancient thing, its silver and falling apart. he does a lot of work with noises, and things on the fly with his buds. i have found fruityloops for him, now what he needs is a really good synth board(is that the name.) I was looking at Korg D4 4-Track Digital Recording Studio and I was wondering if this could possibly be a good upgrade from what he's got, since it includes digital(unlike the other) and can be plugged into the computer(so he can use it with fruityloops) I can't ask him much more about it or he'll get suspicious that I want to buy this for him, haha.. and the model number and brand to the old 4 track is well worn off. any suggestions/ideas?

Nov 01, 2006 02:34 am Also, I know that he has a crappy mic/lack of one, is this also a good supplement due to the internal mic? anyone used this to know that it lasts a while? I've researched it and read reviews, just wanted some live inputs
Nov 01, 2006 04:35 am Yes, that would be a good upgrade, going to digital brings with it lots of good possibilities. Another option may be, depending on his computer, to buy him some software to record with and go computer based...then there is often no track limit.

Nov 01, 2006 07:00 am Very nice of you to do something like this . A few of my relationships suffered due to my interrest in music . Even when people said they were being supportive, it turned out not to be the case, as it was eventually used against me in some manor . Sad, I know .
Kudos to you Reb !
