its been a short while since i've been to the site so i decided to drop by. as i peruse through the forums i can see a lot of people posting and asking many questions (pertaining to mix/recording, obviously). so this tells me that there a ton of you with music to hear... so why isn't there more music posted in the member's music page? if you feel that your music isn't finished or that it's substandard don't worry about it. i have received a few emails from people complimenting and offering advice for my mixes (which aren't done either) and that's great. plus it gives others a chance to hear what work you've done and ask you questions on how you achieved a certain sound. i'm sure the exposure wouldn't hurt either... well that's my 2 cents.

i fully agree. thats why it is there. for constructive feedback. ive got mine up there for that reason (plus the exposure is never bad).

only good can come from sharing :)

i got a top response from the forum about my songs, and they're rubbish! so dont be shy, its a huge ego boost when you get good feedback on these things.

im almost ready to mix down a few of my projects, but i keep starting now ones! currently i must have 2 dozen songs somewhere between a catchy beat and mosty sequenced. i guess once i get on the ball and do this i'll need some webspace. i had an mp3 up on my yahoo site a few weeks ago but yahoo closed me down for an hour every couple days because i was exceeding my transfer limit. yahoo blows. anbody know where i can get decent webspace for free (that doens't shut me down for having too many visitors)?? -j

yeah i think i'll look into that, and ampcast and few others too. I really think I'll wait till I have several finished peices though, that may be more like this winter. Been spending more focus on the band I play bass for. :OD -j
