you haven't really given us a lot to go on.

there are numerous reasons as to why it may not sound as you want it. this can range fom how you have recorded it, with what gear, how many tracks you have, what programs you are using, Mixing tehniques, compressoion, EQ, mastering.

If you are able to give somemore detail, together with maybe filling in your gear bio someone maybe able to help out.

Can you post a copy of your track, even an off site server so people can listen

help us to help you and somene will

cheers then

yup, for a full sound, you need a full mix, which means lots of tracks (between 8 and 32) with good eq settings (so you can hear each track) and for that 'pop' and 'punch', compression is the tool for the job....learn as much about compression as you can, and that'll help your levels and give you more impact.

The export thing is something you will need to check a box for stereo or mono. Or choose that file type in a drop down menu.

What aplication are you recording/exporting from? That will help us answer your question a little better.

OK, you need to select to export a .WAV file in stereo. Then open it up in Wavelab ess.

Now you will be able to use some of the pluggins, preferably a maximizer to get the song to that punchy feel you are looking for.
