Mixdown - CUBASE SX

Hello everybody. I want to ask you..which set up in Cubase SX AudioMixdown is the best for normal song in STEREO? Is it Stereo Interleaved?
Also I would like to know, what Sample Rate you use...44.100 is said to be the CD quality, but do you use higher rate?
And is it a big difference between 24-bit or 32-bit resolution?

Thanks

i track and mix at 48/32 then when i'm done i mix down to 44.1/16 interleaved for burning to audio cd....i can't hear a damn bit of differance between 24 and 32 float...but you use those longer words when applying effects like reverb and what not, which leads to a more detailed reverb tail...so i trust it. if you're short on harddrive space, then i'd see nothin' wrong with tracking at 44.1/24. i don't think i'll ever track anything at 44.1/16, that i can definately hear.

Thanks, so it is good to record and work in 24 or 32 / 48 kHz and then do the mixdown in 16 / 44.1 kHz ?

I'd mix down at the same high rez, then dither down in mastering, always keeping the original mix and master in hi rez for possible later remastering or remixing...

Stereo Interleaved - both left and right will be in the file u save it down too ..... other wise it will save left track and right, to 2 different files

I would have to look at how I have it set in Sonar but I believe I do the interleaved as well. Saves a tiny bit on space. I dont know if it make a diffearnce in Cubase or not though.
