Sonar 5 demo... some questions

Hey all,

I have a 45 day (unlimited) demo of Sonar 5 that I am trying out. I have been using Audition 1.5 but I thought I would give Sonar a try. Before I get my head around another audio app I have a couple questions.

Will Sonar allow me to monitor effects in real time? This is something that can't be done in AA. I don't have a vocal effects unit and I would like to be able to monitor the effects in real time.

Another thing I am curious about is if I can Rewire Reason to it.

I have only been able to spend about 1/2 hour with the program so I was only able to do a quick visual overview of its features. Is there anything that is particularily unique with Sonar 5 over other audio apps? On the surface it looks like most other audio apps. I'm hoping that the learning curve won't be too complex.
